About Capture Cambridge

Capture Cambridge is an exciting student-run initiative that aims to harness the creative power of Cambridge students to create a permanent source of revenue for charities run or aided by Cambridge students.

Our goal is to produce a book of photographs representing Cambridge student life and traditions - photos taken exclusively by current students and alums. Capture Cambridge is running a university-wide photo competition looking for images that capture all aspects of Cambridge student life: gruelling dawn outings on the Cam, drama, debating, night-owl library sessions, formals, ents, sport, lectures, societies, exams, May Week, and any funny, insightful, interesting, clever, or simply beautiful moment from Cambridge student life. The Capture Cambridge book will be very different from the standard collections of picteuresque architecture, photo-op portraits, and college histories. Never before have Cambridge students collaborated to produce a publication about Cambridge student life and traditions.

Prizes for top entries include ipod shuffles, ADC tickets, and Cambridge Wine Merchant vouchers!
